What does the coming year have in store for the Trainor’s??? Good question how is a second urchin going to affect us??? I’m going to start eating this elephant one bite at a time! Aaron is taking the MSU farrier certification course, which I love partially for selfish reasons, “In house farrier!!!” Some of you know that before I met Aaron I trimmed my own horses using “Natural Balance Principal’s.” When I was doing my uni course for my instructor licensing, I got to study with Jim and Brandon Crew on campus using “Healthy stride.” This made it very easy for me to introduce Aaron to “Healthy stride” and with his own curiosity and background in trimming and balance; he got to spend some real quality time with Jim!!! That only wet Aaron’s whistle for never ending self-improvement with the certification course and adding in the shoeing on top of his trimming!!! It has been really good for me because I am taking another look at how I learned to trim and Aaron challenges me to improve as well!!! How does this benefit you??? Aaron can help your horse too!! He passed his Level 3 On-Line and Liberty with his mule, has worked with Jim Crew and will be certified by MSU in March. Your horses will have great Parelli handling if trimming or shoeing is part of your plans! Just let us know when you schedule your lessons or workshop so Aaron can arrange to come with me. You can add your horse to his schedule as well by contacting Aaron directly at aarontrainor@hotmail.com or (406) 594-1747. I have some workshops and lessons planned (see the Schedule area of this newsletter for more detail), as my due date draws nearer for kiddo#2; I am going to make fewer commitments. I am on a hormone regiment to keep me from delivering early!!! The other great thing is that my ovary is no longer HUGE, so I am riding again. My goal is to get my Level 4 finesse video’ed ASAP but don’t expect to see me riding too much. I will do most of my teaching on the weekends until the middle of March due to Aaron’s Farrier Course. I’m due June 15th so keep that in mind for this year! I know it’s going to be cold but let’s not dilly dally cause I’m gonna get pretty round come June or sooner!
