Most of you know Decker came a bit early just over 6 weeks! He was supposed to arrive on the 5 of January 2011.  Most of the first part of the year was dedicated to learning and care of our new bundle of joy.  He was remarkably healthy for his early arrival and I started to ride again about the time he should have been born.  The good part about the extra time we spent
in the NICU was the great instruction from the hospital staff for my career
adjustment. I felt much more secure about my new role as MOM!  My kudos to those of you that are Moms, it is a big responsibility!  Aaron finished his
project in Helena and stayed home to help me, he gave me the support I needed to go out and teach from Billings, Great Falls, Missoula and Cody WY.  Then Aaron took a job over in Sidney, MT — he is not so good at being idle!  While he was going back and forth I would trek around to teach. Thanks to all of you being so understanding of little breaks I needed to take to check on my sleeping beauty or to bring him out in his stroller. Thanks again for helping me see that life can go on once you become a mom.   During my down time, I was able to take a web site design class and build my web site www.jennytrainor.com I am still a novice but hope to improve this winter (if we ever get one!)  Since Aaron was in Eastern Montana, I spent time on students in that area as well as North Dakota.  What a great bunch of students!  I got to see some of the more western students in Oregon and Washington on visits to see family.   I took a long look at the continuing
education I had previously purchased in the Mastery program with Parelli.   I had 2 months of education pre-paid but decided to trade it for 4 days with Linda! WOW she is amazing, instructors only, and about 25 riders, it was a huge breakthrough for me. I cannot wait to make sure you get all the info she taught me!!!!  Some of you have already gotten it, but I need to bring it to a bunch more of you. If I haven’t gotten to teach you about ”Steady rein” yet, that should be top on our list next time I see you. It is amazing!!!!!

Then the best thing happened!!!  Accidently on purpose Aaron and I are expecting again, and it is a girl!!!!  I’m sure those of you that know Aaron, know he is a bit distressed, causing him to need more firearmsJ  I, however,
am hoping for a horse crazy girl!   I was able to Pass Level 4 On-line, and Liberty this fall.  I video’ed my L4 Freestyle as a test just to see what it looked like and get a feel for what I want to include and thought “well, it’s okay”.  Then I went for my first ultrasound and they found one of my ovaries was the size of a grapefruit, (it is supposed to be the size of a lime) so the Doc put me on restrictive activity! NO RIDING until the ovary reduced in size. The baby was safe they just did not want the ovary to twist, which would then require surgery — not ideal while pregnant!  The Doc said, “Sometime
in the second trimester the ovary SHOULD decrease in size.”  I decided to not be a perfectionist and send in my test run video of freestyle. I passed flying changes on a walking horse!!!!!  Note — the flying changes were NOT the part of the video I didn’t like.  The moral of the story: video your auditions and send them in even if they are not perfect!!!!!!
